Thomas Ritzenhoff

Thomas Ritzenhoff (born October 19, 1961 in Münster ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ).

Ritzenhoff graduated from high school in 1981 and then studied law in Münster. He was a trainee lawyer in Hamburg and has been a lawyer in Hamburg since 1992. He is married and has one child.

In 1989 Ritzenhoff joined the SPD. There he became a member of the state and district executive boards of Wandsbek, as well as deputy chairman of the social democratic community for local politics in Hamburg. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Wandsbek district assembly. There he was initially deputy parliamentary group leader, from 2004 to 2011 parliamentary group chairman. From March 2011 to June 2011 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament as a replacement for Senator Michael Neumann . On July 1, 2011, he moved into the office space in the Wandsbek district office as the new district office manager. For this he resigned his citizenship mandate.

He lives in Rahlstedt with his wife and son.
