The Thomas Rock is a small nunatak in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Prince Albert Mountains, it rises 1.5 km northeast of Tent Rock and 10 km west of the Ricker Hills .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Kenneth E. Thomas, radio operator of the winter team on the Amundsen-Scott- South Pole Station in 1966.
