Thomas Schellenbacher

Thomas Schellenbacher (born July 23, 1964 in Melk , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). From October 2013 to November 2017 he was a member of the National Council .

Life

Thomas Schellenbacher is the son of the later mayor of St. Leonhard am Forst , Johann Schellenbacher (* 1943) and Franziska, geb. Kühberger. He attended secondary school in St. Leonhard am Forst. From 1978 to 1983 he went to the higher technical federal teaching and research institute in St. Pölten . From April 2007 he was the owner of STC-INFRA SRL, a Romanian company. From May 2009 he was managing director of STC Service Technik Consulting GmbH. From December 15, 2010 he worked for Uranus Capital SA

Political career

On October 29, 2013, Schellenbacher became a member of the National Council as a member of the FPÖ. As such, he was secretary of the Committee on Economy and Industry and a member of the Committee on Transport and the Tourism Committee. As an FPÖ mandate, he was a member of the liberal parliamentary club.

In 2016, a businessman accused the Ukraine of paying a bribe of ten million euros so that Schellenbacher would be on the FPÖ list and enter parliament in the National Council election.
