Thomas Schuch (pianist)

Thomas Schuch (born 1992 in Rosenheim  ) is a German pianist .

In 2011 Thomas Schuch, who is not related to the pianist Herbert Schuch , won the national youth music competition . He then began studying at the Munich University of Music and Theater with Professor Adrian Oetiker. In 2013 he received the Douglas Ashley Memorial Prize in the chamber music category at the International Brahms Competition in Pörtschach, and in 2014 he received the Steinway House Munich Prize for Classical Music. He is also a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben . In 2016 he was awarded a 2nd prize at the Kissinger Piano Olympics . In 2017 an appearance at the Kissinger Sommer followed
