Thomas William Duncan

Thomas William Duncan (born August 15, 1905 in Casey , Iowa , † September 15, 1987 in Las Cruces , New Mexico ) was an American writer . Many of his novels are set in a circus setting. His most famous novel was Gus the Great .

Duncan studied at Drake University and Harvard University . He taught and worked as the public relations director at Grinnell College from 1942 to 1944 and was married to Actea Carolyn Young. His body was buried in an anonymous grave.
