Thomas Ziolkowski (born March 31, 1989 in Cologne ) is a German - Polish ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Hannover Indians in the ice hockey league in the 2018/19 season.

Career

Thomas Ziolkowski went through the youth teams of the Kölner Haie and after his time in the DNL team of the Haie moved to North America, where he played for the Peoria Mustangs (CSHL), Lambton Shores Predators and Sarnia Legionnaires (GOJHL) and improved his skills as a hockey player. Before the 2010/11 season he returned to Germany, where he played for EHC Dortmund in the Oberliga West and EV Duisburg . In 2012, Ziolkowski received a contract offer from the second Bundesliga, where he made a total of 105 games for the Dresdner Eislöwen until 2014 . His younger brother Christoph was also part of the Eislöwen squad in the 2013/14 season.

After the 2013/14 season, Ziolkowski decided to move to the DEL2 promoted Löwen Frankfurt . After the insolvency of EHC Neuwied , Thomas Ziolkowski was forced to move to the Hanover Indians and after just one season he moved to the Füchsen Duisburg. In the Foxes Ziolkowski scored 21 points. For the 2018/19 season, Ziolkowski returned to the Hanover Indians.
