The Thomaskirche was a Protestant church in Aschaffenburg . It was the district after the war on the corner lot Röderweg / Kneippstraße in the course of development in the immediate vicinity of the Catholic Pius Church provided as a simple functional building into service. The last service took place on eternity Sunday , November 20, 2011. The building was in poor condition, after the demolition in 2016, the property still owned by the church was leased and a larger residential building was built on it. The former congregation now belongs to the Christ Church again .

Robert Eidenschink made a memorial that was erected in May 2018 by the Catholic Monsignor Walter Holzheimer and the Protestant pastor Dr. Hansjörg Schemann was inaugurated at the previous location. Like the St. Thomas Church before, the monument is a station in the Corpus Christi procession of the neighboring Catholic Church.
