Thorsten Rauser

Thorsten Rauser (born April 21, 1972 in Reutlingen ) is a German multimedia entrepreneur and pioneer in the computer advertising games industry.

In 1989, as a high school graduate, Thorsten Rauser founded the multimedia agency COMAD Computer Advertisement in Reutlingen, which was later renamed Rauser Advertainment . The agency was one of the first to use the computer medium as advertising space. Together with a growing team, Rauser developed interactive entertainment and computer games for international customers such as Kelloggs, Unilever, McKinsey, DaimlerChrysler and the German Federal Ministry of Defense .

In 1999 this resulted in K1010 , an advertising-financed game portal. In 2001 the company expanded to the USA and within 3 months reached the third position of independent games sites in the USA (source: PC Data, 03/2001).

After the takeover by the Berlin UV interactive Services GmbH in June 2001, Rauser left the company. He spent the next few years abroad and returned to Germany in 2004. In June 2004 Thorsten Rauser founded the binary family GmbH in Berlin, a special agency for interactive entertainment.

For the start-up First1 Networks GmbH , Rauser developed the Internet quiz show "How far will you go?", Which was later renamed Quizzen ist Geld . Rauser was managing director from July 2007 to August 2008.

Today Thorsten Rauser works as managing director of the binary family . He is a producer of entertainment software for iPhone, web and social network applications. The iKitty app, developed under the direction of Rauser, won the Animago Award in the Best Mobile Production category in 2009.
