Thoth is an abstract shoot-'em-up - video game , the Jeppe Carlsen, the former lead gameplay designer of Play Dead games Limbo and Inside was developed. It was published by Double Fine Presents.

Carlsen had considered creating a game inspired by Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and Robotron: 2084 before starting work on Limbo .

The music for the game was composed by experimental composers SØS Gunver Ryberg and Cristian Vogel.

Gameplay

Progress through the levels of the game is made by eliminating all enemies. The game can be played alone or with two players cooperatively. When the 64 main levels are completed, the player gets access to randomly generated levels.
