The Thumb Point (English for thumb tip ) is a rocky mountain ridge in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Prince Albert Mountains it rises on the northwest side of the Zeugenberg The Mitten .
The southern group of a campaign carried out from 1962 to 1963 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition gave it its descriptive name.
