The Thuwanna Stadium , actually "Thuwunna Youth Training Center Stadium", usually referred to as the "Thuwunna YTC Stadium", is a multi-purpose stadium in Myanmar 's largest city, Rangoon . With its 32,000 seats, it is smaller than the Bogyoke Aung San Stadium , but it is currently being expanded and will eventually accommodate 50,000 spectators. Since it offers a higher standard compared to the Bogyoke Aung San Stadium, international football matches and athletics competitions are mostly held in the Thuwanna Stadium. The track with its eight tracks corresponds to the international standard of the IAAF .

Qualifying games for the U-22 Asian Cup 2014 and the ASEAN soccer championship 2012 are to take place in the Thuwanna Stadium .

Right next to the stadium is the “Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium”, Myanmar's preferred facility for indoor sports.
