Ti-Tho

Ti-Tho was a band of the Neue Deutsche Welle and was active in the early 1980s . Musically, Ti-Tho can be assigned to a minimal-electronic direction.

The duo from Hamburg consisted of Thomas Stelter ( synthesizer and accordion ) and Christina Marisa Calcagno (vocals) and released some singles on ZickZack Records and Polydor . An album was announced but never released. The band name is made up of the abbreviated names of the two musicians ( Ti = Tina, Tho = Thomas). In 1984 Ti-Tho took part in the Hamburg music video project For a Handful of D-Marks .

Christina Marisa Calcagno (born November 6, 1965) works today as an actress as well as a speaker for radio plays and commercials.
