The Tickell Peak is a 290 m high mountain in the east of Bird Iceland off the northwestern tip of South Georgia . It rises to the east of Roché Peak and is the second highest peak on the island after it.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2012. It is named after the British ornithologist William Lancelot Noyes Tickell (1930-2014), a pioneer in ornithology from Bird Island, who initiated a long-term observation program on the populations of albatrosses on the island.
