Animal stories - On the way with Monika and Filou is a television series on Swiss radio and television . The program tells the stories of domestic pets, wild animals and farm animals and their people. The series is the successor to Tierische Freunde , in which Monika Fasnacht was also an expert. The new broadcast format was widely announced in advance by the press.
Episodes and broadcast dates
The first season of the television series with ten episodes started after four months of lead time and production time on January 8, 2017. Each episode contains three stories, each of which is summarized under a program title. The story of a rooster, two golden retrievers and a paralyzed cat was told in the first episode, entitled “Brave Animals” . The second episode was called "Tierkinder" and accompanied Monika Fasnacht and Filou to an ox, a Labrador and three motherless city foxes. In the third episode, Monika Fasnacht and Filou visited an Airedale Terrier bitch, two East Frisian milk sheep and a former contract child with a big heart for animals.
Unlike the previous season of Tierische Freunde , animal stories with Monika and Filou do not tell stories of exotic animals and zoo animals.
