Tigerstripe Ridge (English for Tigerstreifengrat is) a ridge of the Convoy Range in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It forms the north ridge of Flagship Mountain .
Scientists from the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program who worked in this area between 1989 and 1990 made the descriptive naming. Its name is derived from its banding made of stone of different colors, reminiscent of the striped fur of a tiger .
