The tiger tooth dagger or tiger tooth is a dagger from India.
description
The tiger tooth dagger has a broad, double-edged, strong blade. The blade becomes narrower from the handle to the location . From about halfway onwards, the blade is curved and tapers towards the place. The place is reinforced to pierce chain armor . The blades either have a strong central ridge or two wide hollow grinds. The booklet has no guard and is made in a form typical for these daggers (see pictures on the web links) They are covered with handles made of horn or ivory. The blades are often decorated with engravings in a floral pattern. The tiger tooth dagger is an Indian version of the Jambia and is used by warrior caste in India.
