Tilgner fountain
The Tilgner fountain (also: Froschbrunnen ) is a fountain in the Resselpark on Karlsplatz in Vienna's 4th district of Wieden .

The Tilgner Fountain was built in 1902 in memory of the sculptor Viktor Tilgner based on an original model from his estate and is now a listed building ( list entry ). In the center of the granite fountain bowl there is a base with the inscription "In memory of Viktor Tilgner, erected by the municipality of Vienna in 1902" . On this pedestal stands a bronze sculpture with two putti holding gargoyles in the shape of a fish or a goose. At the edge of the fountain basin there are four bronze sculptures depicting water-spouting frogs.
