Tilo Beckmann

Tilo Beckmann (* 1964 in Bünde ) is a German singer , coach and arranger . He is a coach, owner of the artist agency leading-voices in Münster and was the manager of the vocal band Sonic Suite . He is also head of the Münster Vocal Festival, 1st chairman of the european voices association (EVA) and initiator of the european voices award.

Life

Tilo Beckmann was the singer ( countertenor ), arranger and at times manager of the first German professional a cappella band 6-cylinder , which he founded in 1983. In 2007 he took over the well-known coaching course for a cappella groups from Alastair Thompson ( The King's Singers ) after he had suggested him.

After 25 years he left the 6-cylinder and brings his experience, which he gained through over 2500 international appearances, 60 TV and radio productions and 11 CD recordings, into his work as a coach of a cappella formations such as choirs and vocal bands a. In 2008 he founded the artist agency "leading-voices" in connection with this, which represents professional singers and a cappella bands.

He studied guitar and violin at the Münster University of Music. Beckmann lives and works in Münster .
