Tim Benton

Tim Benton (born before 1990) is an English biologist .

Life

Benton studied at the University of Oxford (BA) and received his PhD from Cambridge in 1990 . Today he is Professor of Population Ecology at the School of Biology at the University of Leeds and UK Champion for Global Food Security.

His research is mainly in the area of global food security (food security) and Conservation Biology (conservation biology).
