Tim Aker

Tim Mark Aker (born May 23, 1985 in Orsett , Essex ) is a British politician of the Brexit party .

Life

Tim Aker grew up in Aveley , South Essex . Aker studied history and political science at the University of Nottingham from 2003 and graduated with a bachelor's degree. He first worked for a member of the European Parliament and was a so-called grassroots coordinator in the British interest group and think tank TaxPayers' Alliance . He later became director of the Eurosceptic Get Britain Out campaign . He began his political career in the Tory youth group Conservative Future . He then switched to the UK Independence Party . He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 . There he is a member of the Petitions Committee. In 2019 he joined the Brexit party.
