Band history

Tim Tim had her first release in 1997 with the single Under The Sun , which made it to number 1 in Jamaica , while the album of the same name was number 3 in the charts in Austria .

Under the Mango Tree was released in 1998 . The chorus of the single was based on a song by Monty Norman . The play was originally called Underneath the Mango Tree and was played by Bond girl Ursula Andress in the film James Bond Chases Dr. No siren. The single was also released in Germany and was often on the radio without being able to gain a foothold there. Under the Mango Tree was gold-plated in Austria and proved to be a successful export item, which brought the band to Jamaica, where they played at the world's largest reggae festival, the Sumfest (formerly Sunsplash ), on international day u. a. performed together with Ziggy Marley .

In the same year Tim Tim were recognized by the IFPI in Austria as the most successful newcomer in terms of airplay and sales.

Tim Tim had another hit in 2000 with the SingAlongSong , which - like the other singles before - was repeatedly linked to various international compilations .

Current band members are Jerry (Fritz Jerey) from Austria, Timmy (Timothy Afolabi) from Nigeria and Daniela de Lima from Brazil. The band also worked with various national and international artists.
