Timo Parvela
Timo Parvela (born May 19, 1964 in Jyväskylä ) is a Finnish writer .
Parvela was a primary school teacher before starting to write books.
He has been working as a freelance writer since 1996. In addition to books for children and young people, he has written TV scripts for both children and adults as well as co-designed several Finnish textbooks and contributions for Finnish radio.
His Ella series is school reading in his home country Finland. The focus is on the elementary school student Ella, who talks about her everyday school life.
