Mathias Eichinger (born November 12, 1954 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German volleyball coach.

Career

Mathias Eichinger actively played volleyball in Grafenau and Munich - Schwabing . He began his coaching career at SV Lohhof as assistant coach to Andrzej Niemczyk . At the same time he was also the national coach of the juniors. In 1984 Eichinger became head coach of Bundesliga club CJD Feuerbach and had his greatest successes by winning the German runner-up in 1987 and 1988, winning the German championship in 1989 and 1990 and winning the DVV Cup four times from 1987 to 1990 . In 1989/90 he was also the national coach for women. Other coaching stations were MTV Stuttgart 1990/91, again CJD Feuerbach 1991/92, TSV Grafenau 1992/93, DJK Karbach 1993–1995, Schweriner SC 1995/96, Gulet Vienna 1996/97, TV Creglingen 1997–2000, the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg 2000/01, Volley Cats Berlin 2001/02 and the SSV Ulm 1846 2002-2004 with the Eichinger again German champion and DVV cup winner. From 2004 to 2008 Eichinger Longa 59 Lichtenvoorde trained in the Netherlands and was the Dutch champion and cup winner here in 2005. From 2008 to 2010 Eichinger was the coach of the men from TV Bühl , with whom they were promoted to the Bundesliga in 2009 . In 2011/12 he was the coach of the second division women from FTSV Straubing .
