The Tirino is a river in Italy about 25 km long.

geography

The Tirino river has its source in the Gran Sasso mountain range at an altitude of around 1800 m. It is a tributary of the Pescara River and is considered to be one of the cleanest rivers in Italy. The Tirino has an average water flow of approx. 6 m³ / s. Fishing is only allowed with the appropriate license. Part of the river was declared a nature reserve in 2007.
