Titular diocese of Bisenzio

Bisenzio ( Latin : bisentinus , bisentium or visentium ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to the Bisenzio diocese in Latium, which was established around 600 . In 680 the diocese was renamed Castrum . This went on in the 17th century in the diocese of Acquapendente .

Pope Francis restored the bishopric as a titular seat in February 2018. It was awarded for the first time in March 2019.
