Titular diocese of Raphia
Raphia ( Italian : Rafia ) is today a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an early Christian bishopric in the ancient city of the same name and belonged to the province of Palestine prima . Today the place is called Rafah and is located in the Gaza Strip south of the city of Gaza and is directly on the border with Egypt .
