Titular diocese of Trapezus degli Armeni
Trapezus degli Armeni ( Italian : Trebisonda degli Armeni ) is a titular bishopric of the Catholic Church , which is awarded by the Pope to titular bishops from the Armenian Catholic Church united with Rome .
The ancient bishopric was in the city of the same name, Trapezus , in the northeast of today's Turkey . From 1850 to 1928 there was an Armenian Catholic diocese in Trabzon .
