Titus Flavius Italicus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Titus Flavius Italicus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription found at the Arrabona fort and dated 130/132 shows that Italicus was prefect of the Ala I Ulpia Contariorum milliaria civium Romanorum , which was stationed in the province of Pannonia superior .

According to Margaret M. Roxan , Italicus is not identical to Flavius Italicus , a governor of the Dacia Porolissensis province from 130/131 to at least 135.
