Titus Prifernius Paetus Settidianus Firmus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Titus Prifernius Paetus Settidianus Firmus (full name form Titus Prifernius Paetus Cai filius Settidianus Firmus ) was a Roman politician living in the 1st century AD . In a military diploma and the Fasti Ostienses his name is given as Titus Prifernius Paetus .

A military diploma dated July 12, 96 proves that Paetus 96 was a suffect consul with Quintus Fabius Postuminus ; the two are also listed in the Fasti Ostienses, but in reverse order. Further diplomas prove that he was governor ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) of the province of Moesia superior from 109 to 112 . His full name is documented by an inscription.
