Tix (musician)

Andreas Andresen Haukeland (born April 12, 1993 ), known by his stage name TIX , is a Norwegian music producer and songwriter . He is known for party music, which is mainly used by young people in connection with Russian celebrations.

Life

Haukeland comes from Bærum . He began to write commissioned songs for the Russian celebrations of the Norwegian high school students. He achieved national fame in 2015 with the song Sjeiken 2015 , which was written for his brother's Russian celebration . It was eventually used by other teenagers in the Russian celebrations around Norway's National Day and entered the charts. The song created a controversy as there were sentences like “ I kveld er det lov å være hore” (German: Tonight is it allowed to be a whore ) and “ Vil du bli med meg hjem hvis jeg skjenker deg noe sprit da? “ (German: Will you come home with me when I pour you alcohol? ).

He was involved as a songwriter on the song Sweet but Psycho by Ava Max , released in 2018 , which reached number 1 on the music charts in various countries .

In 2019 he took part in the Norwegian reality TV series Paradise Hotel . Haukeland stated that after April 13, 2023 he no longer wanted to perform under his stage name TIX. He stated that at the beginning of his career the person behind the pseudonym was not yet known, but that he himself became known through participating in Paradise Hotel .

At the end of 2019 it was announced that he would serve as a juror on the Norwegian talent show Idol in 2020 . In March 2020 he published the song Karantene (German: quarantine ), which was written during his time under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic . He voluntarily quarantined himself after playing a major concert in early March 2020. He also recorded the song in Swedish with the duo Samir & Viktor .

Tor Martin Bøe from Verdens Gang (VG) wrote in a review of the album Dømt og berømt that the songs were deliberately simple and sex-focused. He gave the album one of six possible points.
