Tjinani Maharero

Tjinani Maharero , also Tjinaani (* 20th century in South West Africa ), has been the traditional leader of the Maharero Royal House in Namibia since 2012 . He bears the title of Ombara and heads the traditional administration of the Maharero .

His ancestors played a leading role in the uprising of the Herero and Nama at the time of German South West Africa . Unlike many other Herero leaders, Maharero supports the Namibian government's official course in the genocide talks with Germany .
