Traditional administration (Namibia)
Traditional administrations ( English Traditional Authorities ) in Namibia , according to the Namibian Constitution granted certain tasks.
Tribal and clan heads from lineage as well as traditionally determined or democratically elected leaders are given a firm place in the Namibian political system . This takes into account the multicultural and diverse population of the country . The Rehoboth Baster is the only known traditional administration that is not recognized.
The traditional administrative units is the Council of Traditional leaders ( English Council of Traditional Leaders ) ago.
In addition to the constitution, the legal basis is primarily the Promulgation of Traditional Authorities Act and the Promulgation of Council of Traditional Leaders Act .
Many of the traditional administrations have a recognized traditional dish .
