Sam Kambazembi

Sam Kambazembi (* 1965 or 1966 in Botswana ) has been the eighth traditional leader of the Kambazembi Royal House in Namibia since 2014 . He bears the title of Ombara and heads the traditional administration of the Kambazembi based in Onguatjindu ( Okakarara ).

Kambazembi was recognized on November 15, 2014, succeeding his brother Uaakutjo .

His ancestors played a leading role in the uprising of the Herero and Nama at the time of German South West Africa .
