George Simasiku
George Chikandekande Simasiku , better known as Mamili VII. (* 20th century in South West Africa ), is the seventh king of the Mafwe , a Lozi clan in the Caprivi Strip , in the Zambezi region , in the far northeast of Namibia . As Ngambela, he has headed the traditional administration of the Mafwe, based in Chinchimane , since 1999 .
Mamili VII lost the election to king in 1987 against Boniface Bwimo Bebi Mamili VI. He finally followed in 1999 after Bebi fled into exile in Botswana and then Denmark due to his position in the Caprivi conflict .
