The Namibia Scientific Society (NWG), also Namibia Scientific Society (NSS), is a society of scientists for persecution founded in 1925 in South West Africa with the name South West Africa Scientific Society ( English ), SWA-Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft or afrikaans Suidwes Afrika Wetenskaplige Vereniging charitable causes working in or across Namibia.

The society is based in Windhoek and has a reference library there with over 11,000 monographs . With the purchase of the Namibiana collection , the NWG has had the largest collection of books and historical documents on Namibia worldwide since the end of 2016.

The NWG issues publications and is a recognized scientific institution in Namibia.
