(* 20th century in South West Africa ), is the sixth king of the Masubia , a Lozi clan in the Caprivi Strip , in the Zambezi region , in the far northeast of Namibia . As Munitenge, he has headed the traditional administration of the Masubia, based in Bukalo , since August 19, 1996 .

Politically, Liswani III stands. close to the ruling SWAPO as a member. He therefore also rejects a referendum on the independence of the Caprivi Strip. Such a wish has existed among many Caprivians for decades and led to the Caprivi conflict in 1996 .
