Dawid ǁKhamuxab

Dawid ǁKhamuxab (also incorrectly David ; * 1950 in South West Africa ) is the traditional leader of the Haiǁom in Namibia . He is called Gaob .

ǁKhamuxab was promoted to office in 2001 and recognized by the government on July 29, 2004 as Chairman of the Haiǁom Traditional Administration . In 2005 and 2006 some Haiǁom called for Dawid ǁKhamuxab to be deposed. Before his introduction to the office, ǁKhamuxab was the chief adviser to his predecessor Willem ǀAib .

ǁKhamuxab is illiterate , but speaks fluent Afrikaans , but no English .

On the settlement Farm Seringkop is with Dawid ǁKhamuxab Primary School one eponymous primary school and a clinic .
