The Tmu-na-Theater ( Hebrew: תיאטרון תמונע ) is a free theater and performance center in Tel Aviv, which brings fringe and avant-garde to the stage, among other things . It is located at 8 Soncino Road in Tel Aviv , Israel and includes four halls for events. The theater is managed by Nava Tzukerman .

The theater was founded in 1987 by Nava Tzuckerman with the help of her husband Micky Tzuckerman and Ilan Rozental, primarily for fringe productions by Nava Tzuckermans Ensemble, which she founded in 1981. The Tmu-na Theater ensemble has around 30 different productions in its repertoire and performs them daily. The Tmu-na Theater is a regular guest at various festivals, including the Akko Festival , the Israel Festival , Theatronetto and the Edinburgh Festival .

The Goethe-Institut Israel works regularly with the Tmu-na-Theater in Tel Aviv. The first Hebrew performance of Wolfgang Borchert's play Outside in front of the door at the Tmu-na-Theater will take place in March 2017 with the acting director Matthias Gehre of the Theater Krefeld and Mönchengladbach .
