LOGOS International

LOGOS International eV was a Christian mission and relief organization. After the merger with the mission organization ICW in 2009, the work is continued under the name To All Nations eV ( Bornheim (Rhineland) ).

history

LOGOS International was founded in 1986 by the theologian Johannes Reimer . Under his leadership, the Mission Society began to work behind the Iron Curtain . After the changed political situation due to the opening of the borders of the Soviet Union in 1989, LOGOS founded a Bible school in Belorechensk in southern Russia . In 1992 it moved to Saint Petersburg , where it was renamed the Christian University of St. Petersburg (SPCU) .

LOGOS International was a member of the Working Group of Evangelical Missions (AEM) and the Association of Baptized Churches (BTG)

In 1997 the LOGOS Hilfswerk eV was founded under the umbrella of the Missionswerk .

In 2009 the Missionswerk LOGOS International eV merged with the Missionswerk ICW eV The two mission agencies are now run under the new name To All Nations eV . Also To All Nations eV is a member of that AEM.

The St. Petersburg Children's Ark project was made independent by the Children's Ark Foundation .

As a member of the AEM, LOGOS International is recognized as a carrier for the Voluntary Social Year in Germany and abroad. LOGOS International is managed by an executive board to which the full-time managing director, Andrej Rempel, reports. With over 60 full-time missionaries and employees, the association currently works in a total of 13 countries: Germany , USA , Portugal , Ukraine , Belarus , Russia , Romania , Kyrgyzstan , Israel , Paraguay , Thailand , Turkey and Mongolia .

LOGOS International is financially independent and is supported by voluntary donations from individual friends and parishes.
