To Rithya
To Rithya (born October 10, 1967 ) is a retired Cambodian marathon runner .
Rithya had his best performance in the marathon in 1995 when he took 2:34:43 hours for the distance in Chiang Mai, Thailand . At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta he was 105 with a time of 2:47:01 hours. Four years later, he reached 80th and penultimate place at the Games in Sydney with 3:03:56 hours. At both tournaments he was the flag bearer of the Cambodian team. At the 1999 World Championships in Seville, Rithya finished 65th in just under three hours, making it the last of the runners to cross the finish line.
