Tobias Goebel

Tobias Goebel (born November 14,  1990 ) is a former German football player .

Life

Goebel was part of the Braunschweig Lions from 2009 to 2019 . The 1.85-meter-long kicker won the German championship in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019 with Lower Saxony, he was runner-up with Braunschweig in 2017. He won the Eurobowl with Braunschweig in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. 2014 Goebel lost the Eurobowl with his team against the Berlin Adler .

At the beginning of August 2019, Goebel was at the top of the Braunschweig Lions' eternal point list. He overtook Kelvin Love , who had booked the most points in team history by then. In October 2019 he retired from competitive sports. Goebel scored 1002 points for Braunschweig in his career. At the end of his career, he had other club maximums, including most field goals (115) and most extra points (657).
