Tochomerius

Thocomerius (perhaps Tochomerius , Tiugomir or Tichomir ; around 1310) was the father of Basarab I , the first independent voivod of Wallachia .

Life

Thocomerius was mentioned as the father of Basarab. Further information about his person has not been passed down.

He was probably a regional prince in Wallachia around 1310. He is probably married to Anna, the daughter of Prince Bărbat .
