Tokinivae is a reef island of the Nui Atoll in the Pacific island state of Tuvalu .
geography
The island is located in the north of the atoll and is almost immediately adjacent to Meang . The northeastern tip is only separated from Meang by a swampy spot. The reef crown of the atoll is quite wide at this point and between Tokinivae and Meang there is a flat sandy plain with individual overgrown elevations. Talalolae connects to the south .
