Tolino page 2
The Tolino , like Vision 5 and Epos 2 , was presented for the first time at the Frankfurt Book Fair by Tolino-Allianz .
The device is the smallest and cheapest e-reader from the Tolino series and is designed as an entry-level device. The small and handy reader in the format 112.5 × 159.8 × 9.1 mm has a display resolution of 768 × 1024 pixels (212 ppi). New in this model series is the integrated display lighting, which has been around for some time in other competing products (e.g. Amazon Kindle ) in the entry-level segment. An NXP-i.MX6 processor with 1 GHz and 512 MB RAM is built into the housing of the Page 2 . This means that it has enough computing power to navigate smoothly in the menu and to leaf through e-books. What is remarkable about this entry-level model is that the response time (e.g. calling up a new e-book page until it is completely displayed) is faster than with the premium model Vision 5. Furthermore, users have 6 GB for storing E -Books available.
