Tomáš Došek (born September 12, 1978 in Karlovy Vary , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech football player .

Club career

Došek began his professional career in 1997 at the Czech club Viktoria Pilsen , for which he played for two seasons. He then moved to Slavia Prague where he played with his twin brother Lukáš .

After a five-year stay with Slavia Prague, he moved to the Austrian record champions Rapid Vienna , where he and his compatriot Marek Kincl formed the storm and won the championship title in the 2004/05 season.

After this success he was sold to FC Artmedia Bratislava , from where he moved to Wisła Płock in Poland after only five months . In the summer of 2007 Tomáš Došek returned to the Czech Republic and joined 1. FC Brno .

National team

Došek played three times in the Czech national football team in 2002 and 2003 .
