Tom & Jerry Kids is an American animated series produced from 1990 to 1994 and produced by Hanna-Barbera in collaboration with Turner Entertainment . The series is a spin-off of Tom-and-Jerry - cartoons from the 1940s and 1960s. In individual, self-contained episodes it addresses the familiar characters in childhood.

content

The series consists of individual, self-contained episodes, each of which singles out a specific scenario. Building on this, the typical confrontations between cat and mouse arise, which are carried out in a typically exaggerated cartoon manner. In contrast to other adaptations of the classic works, Tom & Jerry Kids is more oriented towards the original, but depicts the characters as still children. Tom & Jerry Kids was not the only series that was reissued according to this scheme. There are comparable adaptations of the Flintstones or Scooby Doo, where are you? .
