Tom Boardman (born October 15, 1983 in Forton ) is a British racing driver . He has taken part in a number of World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) races since 2008 .

Boardman began his motorsport career in 1997 in autocross , in which he remained active until 1999. In 1999 Boardman also competed in the T Cars and became champions there. In 2000 he started in the British Saloon Cup and finished 13th overall. In 2001 Boardman moved to the BTCC . He started in the production class. He finished his first season with a third place on the eleventh championship course. In 2002 he stayed in this class and finished sixth in the drivers' championship with three second places in this class. In his third BTCC season, Boardman finally finished fifth in the production classification with seven wins.

In the next few years Boardman was active in Seat brand cups. After finishing third in the British SEAT Cupra championship in 2004, he achieved overall victory in this series in 2005. In 2006 he switched to the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa and reached the third championship place there. In 2007 Boardman took part in both the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa and the British SEAT Cupra championship. He achieved his best overall placement in his home country with eighth place overall. In 2008 Boardman won the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa and also took part in some of the SEAT Leon Eurocup races. There he won a race and reached the sixth championship place. In addition, Boardman made his debut for SUNRED Engineering this season in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and took part in a racing weekend. With a 17th place as the best result, he remained without points.

In 2009 Boardman started eleven of twelve WTCC world championship events. He drove again for SUNRED in a Seat Leon . With two ninth places as the best results, he stayed the season without points. In the “Yokohama Independents' Trophy” for private drivers, he finished fifth with a win. In 2010 Boardman returned to the BTCC. He started for Special Tuning Racing in a Seat Leon and finished 13th in the championship. In addition, he returned to the WTCC for a race weekend . He started for SUNRED and a 13th place was his best result. 2011 Boardman improved in the BTCC with a win on the eleventh championship place. He again competed for Special Tuning Racing.

In 2012 Boardman returned to the World Touring Car Championship. He drives a SEAT León from Special Tuning Racing. Since not enough SEAT engines were available at the start of the season, he did not enter the world championship until the second event. Since there were not enough up-to-date SEAT engines for this one either, Boardman got an older diesel engine. After the second race weekend, a 20th place was his best result.
