Michel Nykjær in Oschersleben
The 2010 World Touring Car Championship is the sixth season of the World Touring Car Championship since 2005. It began on March 7, 2010 in Curitiba and will end on November 21 in Macau . A total of 24 races on 12 tracks were initially planned, but the appearance in Mexico was canceled for safety reasons.
Before the start of the season, Seat and Lada announced the complete and BMW an extensive withdrawal as a works team. Seat and BMW continue to support private teams. However, the drivers of diesel vehicles, including the Seat Leon TDI, are classified as works drivers and therefore do not receive any points for the private driver classification.
