The Seat Leon II (Type 1P) was a compact class vehicle from Seat .

The model was introduced in Spain in June 2005, in other European countries it was only available from September 2005. Like the Audi A3 8P , Škoda Octavia II , VW Golf V and VW Golf VI , the Leon 1P is based on the A5 (PQ35) platform . Like its predecessor, the 1M, it is only available as a five-door model. The rear door handles hidden in a recess in the C-pillar are an unusual detail, similar to those on various Alfa Romeo models.

The equipment lines last offered in Germany Leon (standard equipment), Reference , Reference Copa , Style , Style Copa , FR (Formula Racing) and Cupra R .

Previously offered equipment lines are Stylance , Comfort Limited , Sport , Sport Limited and Cupra (CUP Racing) , Copa Edition (only 55 pieces).

In other EU countries, Seat also offers the Basic , Businessline and Sport-Up variants .
