Previous model Seat Ibiza IV

The Seat Ibiza V is the fifth generation of the Ibiza and is produced by Seat . It was presented in Barcelona on January 31, 2017 and had its world premiere at the 87th Geneva Motor Show .

Model properties

As the first vehicle in the Volkswagen Group, the Ibiza is based on the new MQB-A0 platform , on which other models from Seat, Volkswagen, Audi and Škoda Auto will be based in the future. At the market launch on June 10, 2017, the Ibiza was only offered as a five-door model. The Kombi ST will be replaced by an independent model. The five-door model offers more space than its predecessor thanks to its 8.7 cm wider width and its 9.5 cm longer wheelbase . The equipment variants of the predecessor have been supplemented by the XCellence line , which represents the top equipment parallel to the sporty FR variant . Only versions with SCR storage technology (urea injection) are available for diesel engines .
